My Custom Creations and Builds

Over time, I have done more than just fix tech, I have also put some work into building amazing computers a couple of controllers, and some consoles. although I don't make custom consoles and controllers with modded parts, I do a pretty good job at making tech look more custom and eye-catching with a visually appealing and impressive look. Unfortunately, I didn't start taking pictures of my customs until late last year so a lot of my creations will not be available on this page

What I use

What some may find surprizing, there aren't that many tools needed to make custom controllers and consoles. Instead of going in-depth and writing a book explaining everything, I will list what I use and what it's for, along with an Amazon link for purchase if you are interested in getting them for yourself.

Controllers

This company makes high-quality shells, grips, and nearly anything you would need for custom controllers

This brand is known for making joystick grips for major games and sometimes has great deals for gamers

Consoles

This brand makes high-quality skins for consoles, controllers, accessories, and has a variety of silicone protectors too

Computers

This brand has the best air cooling fans I have purchased so far with a triple fan set for the price of two top brand case fans

My entire computer has everything Asus TUF except the case fans, I have the TUF 502 case and it has enough room for anything with an open area for cable managment

I chose team blue for my CPU because it's the brand I have stuck with since my first laptop and Intel hasn't let me down so far

I used to have more components from Corsair installed but decided to switch to Asus TUF. Corsair is still time of the line (at least for me) when it comes to RAM

Consoles

Although I don't have a variety of consoles to put in this yet, I figured I could start with the PS5 that I bought a while back before deciding to sell it to someone who would get more enjoyment out of it.

This was a simple task that I used a wood style wrap to cover the entire console for a wood look. I surprised myself by getting the skin placed perfect on the first attempt, I figured I would have either caused too many wrinkles or tears before getting it right

Controllers

Controllers are very easy to customize with new shells, buttons, and other accessories like grips and padding. I have customized a handful of Xbox One controllers and only one PlayStation controller so far.

So far I only have images for a couple of controllers:

Customizing controllers is a fairly easy process as long as you have te patience and the tools on hand. The PlayStation controller is more complicated due to 2 main reasons:

  1. The PS5 controller has 5 different generations, BDM-10 to BDM-50

  2. You need a heat gun to move the chip under the touchpad to a different touchpad

If you have a heat gun and (my preference) a work mat for screw and part placement, customising a controller is a fun process that can be very rewarding

As far as the Xbox controller goes, its literally pop the shell off, remove some screws and put it back together with the new parts

Computers

Computers can either be extremly easy or complicated depending on how well you know the system and parts, luckily I have learned plenty when it comes to building and working on computers. For every PC I build, I also make a parts list on PC Part Picker for reference and ideas for future builds

For the first entry on this plage, I will use my own computer since at the the time of this page be created, it's the only one I have images for.
