Having an issue and don't have the time to schedule an appointment? I got you covered. Below is a variety of guides on how to solve tech issues on a variety of devices, search for the issue you are having and use a provided guide if there is one available.

Before you click on a solution, there are some steps that I recommend taking before jumping into the more advanced solutions.

Some of these are specific to types of devices

  1. Make sure the power cable is firmly plugged in/ try a different outlet

  2. Turn the device off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on

  3. Let the device charge for about 15 minutes then try to power it on

  4. Make sure all parts and components are firmly secure

  5. Check for any cable damage/damage on anything touching an electrical part

  6. Change the CMOS battery on the motherboard (quarter-sized disk battery)

  7. Disconnect all devices and try to start the device

  8. Use the task manager to terminate the program and start the program again

 

NOTE: If your device is still under warranty, I highly recommend going through the manufacturer before I work on anything.
