Last week's post was a total progress update for what I have completed so far with RISE, this week is an update for the latest module I have built, the "Windows Restore Point". Those who follow me on Facebook have already seen that I have uploaded both the Batch and Python files to my GitHub for open-source use.
What does the restore point module do?
This module allows me to ask RISE to create a restore point
This saves me from searching for the Windows tool and manually creating one
What needs to be added to the module?
There are still a few features I am working on for the module.
Add a custom name to the point
Scheduled restore points for RISE to make(part of my weekly data backup protocol)
This week will either be another module or I may go through the code I have now and tie up some loose ends and do some file organizing.
That's it for this update, be sure to subscribe to the newsletter so you get alerted when a new post drops and stay up to date on all things David's Tech Repair and RISE
