As explained in my previous post, I had completed the "File search" module for RISE and explained how it worked. Since then, I have begun working on the Google Maps module and nearly completed it (some bugs still need to be worked out). The module works like this (Image below):
I say the trigger phrase "Maps"
RISE "Please say the location" (starting location)
I'll say the starting location
RISE: "Please say the location" (destination)
After the "form" has been filled out, RISE will input the locations into Google Maps and load up the route information on my web browser

I will be changing the prompts once more work is finished
As of right now, I can get the route information, I am still working on the functions for RISE to inform me of ETA, hazards, road work, and other information that is presented on the Google Maps screen

As far as other updates to this module, I plan on adding the following:
Voice control to interact with everything on the Google Maps screen
Add stops in the module before Maps loads
"Show gas stations" prompt and other stops
Color coding/highlighting requested spots on the map
Other changes as I see later
The progress for this module was much faster than the previous ones due to the simpler code, which means I may be able to finish another module by next week. I will keep you updated when the next post drops.
