My Story

Technology has always been more than just work to me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a skillset, and eventually, an opportunity to help others while earning from something I already love doing.

One of the questions I get asked most often is, “Why do you charge such a low hourly rate?” The answer is simple: I know how frustrating it is when devices stop working and not having the time to set up new ones. Whether it’s a slow computer, network issues, or something completely unexpected, those problems disrupt your day. I believe getting them fixed shouldn’t come with an overwhelming price tag.

Before working independently, I had experience with Geek Squad at Best Buy. They always provided great service, but for me, the real challenge was the time—traveling 30–45 minutes to the nearest location and waiting for repairs to be completed. While I understood the process, it made me realize there had to be a more convenient way.

That experience pushed me to start learning and fixing things on my own. What began as simple curiosity—understanding how things work and seeing if I could repair them myself—quickly grew into something much bigger.

Since then, I’ve continued to build my skills and share my knowledge with others. I even (for a short time) created a series called “Tech Tip Tuesdays” on Facebook, where I posted simplified versions of guides I’ve written to help people better understand and solve common tech issues.

​

While I don’t currently hold formal degrees or certifications, I believe my work speaks for itself. Every time I take on a new client, I focus on delivering real results, building trust, and making technology easier to deal with.
