RISE Update 11/20/24

Since my last update, I have managed to finish a few more modules for RISE, but I still have a ways to go before completion. As of this post, I am working on the keyboard shortcuts module, which will allow me to use my voice to do everything from highlighting and copying text to any shortcut that uses the Windows key.

Although the total number of shortcuts is not specific, I will be able to command over a hundred as a start, with more to be added over time.

I am still on the fence about whether or not to release open-source and direct editions. A release will ultimately come down to whether or not I can design a user-friendly interface and settings page

Some options in the settings would be the following:

1.) Email information(to retrieve emails, dates, etc..)

2.) Sports team (if you follow any specific)

3.) News website choice

4.) What you would like RISE to call you

5.) Any other personalized information to make RISE more custom

Countless other things would still need to be finished for a release, I will keep the blog updated when I make major progress and important changes.
